Former CIA officer Scott Uehlinger said the US may be ‘forced to intervene’ in the Red Sea. While the White House has declined requests for direct military strikes for now, Uehlinger stressed that the United States faces growing pressure to intervene after Houthi forces seized control of Yemen’s Red Sea coast.
