More than six decades after the Sharpeville massacre in South Africa, survivors and families have launched a class-action lawsuit seeking compensation.
In 1961, white South African police fired on a crowd of black protesters opposed to apartheid.
Dozens were killed.
Their families say their claims for reparations were denied.
Al Jazeera’s Haru Mutasa reports from Sharpeville, South Africa.
