People living in parts of Australia’s east coast have been told to evacuate their homes as Tropical Cyclone Alfred heads towards the state of Queensland.
It’s forecast to make landfall on Saturday but 80-thousand homes on the Gold Coast have already lost power.
Officials fear the storm could be the worst to hit the region in more than half a century.
