The international film industry is raising alarms over Donald Trump’s proposal to impose 100% tariffs on foreign-produced movies. Australia, a popular destination for Hollywood productions thanks to its competitive costs and tax breaks, could be severely affected. The Australian government says it will oppose the levies “unequivocally” and engage directly with the US to reconsider.
